TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: 16 July 2026

1. About us

This website is operated by, trading as My Charm Bar.

Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to My Charm Bar.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

Contact details:

Email: thecharmbarcompanyuk@gmail.com

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

2. Our products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, prices and other information are accurate.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, lighting and device settings.

Because some of our jewellery is assembled by hand, there may be minor differences between individual items. This does not allow us to supply an item that is materially different from what you ordered.

Products may contain small parts and should be kept away from babies and young children.

3. Build Your Own jewellery

Our Build Your Own service allows you to select a jewellery base and add charms from our available range.

You are responsible for checking:

  • The base you have selected
  • The number of charms selected and paid for
  • Any colour, size or style options
  • Your delivery details
  • Any TikTok username or order reference requested

Most Build Your Own products are assembled using standard bases and charms from our existing range.

Some products may be genuinely personalised, such as products containing a personal name, photograph, message, engraving or design created specifically for you.

Any restrictions applying to genuinely personalised products will be explained before you place your order.

Your statutory rights still apply if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete or not as described.

4. TikTok Live orders

During our TikTok Lives, customers may choose bases, charms and other products.

Choosing an item during a Live does not complete the purchase. You must also place and pay for the corresponding order through our website.

You may be asked to include your TikTok username or another reference with your order so that we can match it to your Live selection.

Please check that:

  • You have selected the correct product
  • You have paid for the correct number of charms
  • Your website order matches your Live selection
  • Your delivery information is correct

Contact us as soon as possible if you believe there is an error.

We will not intentionally substitute a materially different charm or product without your agreement.

5. Placing an order

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products shown at checkout.

Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation, unless that email clearly states that it is only an acknowledgment.

We may be unable to accept an order where:

  • A product is unavailable
  • Payment has not been authorised
  • The delivery address is invalid
  • We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse
  • There is an obvious pricing or listing error
  • Accepting the order would be unlawful

Where we cannot accept an order, we will contact you and refund any payment taken.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling.

Any delivery charge will be shown before you complete checkout.

You must provide accurate payment, billing and delivery information.

Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment providers available at checkout.

We may delay or cancel fulfilment where a payment is declined, reversed, under review or suspected to be fraudulent.

7. Changes and cancellations

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.

We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once the item has been assembled or dispatched.

Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Returns and Refunds Policy, available on our website.

8. Delivery

Delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout or in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless we have expressly agreed to a guaranteed date.

We remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to someone you have nominated to receive them. Risk does not automatically pass to you merely because we have handed the parcel to Royal Mail or another delivery company.

Please contact us if an order:

  • Does not arrive
  • Arrives damaged
  • Is shown as delivered but cannot be located
  • Contains an incorrect item
  • Is missing an item or charm

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Where a parcel is returned because the address supplied by you was incomplete or incorrect, we may charge reasonable redelivery costs.

9. Damaged, faulty or incomplete orders

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

Contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged
  • Incorrect
  • Incomplete
  • Missing a charm or component
  • Not as described

To help us investigate, we may reasonably ask for:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem
  • Photographs of the complete item
  • Close-up photographs
  • Photographs of the packaging
  • Confirmation of the missing or affected component

We may ask for the item to be returned where the issue cannot be assessed remotely.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a repair, replacement, missing component, price reduction or refund.

Further information is provided in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

10. Returns and refunds

Our Returns and Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms.

It explains:

  • Our 30-day returns policy
  • Change-of-mind returns
  • Statutory cancellation rights
  • Faulty or damaged products
  • Missing or incorrect orders
  • Return postage
  • Refund processing

Nothing in that policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Website use

You must not use our website:

  • Fraudulently or unlawfully
  • To provide false identity or payment information
  • To introduce malware or harmful code
  • To interfere with the website’s security
  • To collect other people’s personal information
  • To copy or commercially exploit our website content without permission
  • To harass, threaten or abuse another person

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, our business or the website.

This will not remove any rights you have relating to an existing order.

Where you submit a review, photograph, video or comment for publication, you confirm that:

  • It is truthful
  • You have the right to submit it

  • It does not contain unlawful, threatening or abusive content

You retain ownership of your content.

You give us permission to display and reproduce submitted content in connection with My Charm Bar, including on our website and social media.

15. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable losses caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Breach of statutory consumer rights
  • Defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded

Products sold through our website are intended for personal use.

We are not responsible for business losses, such as lost profit or lost revenue, where you purchased as a consumer.

16. Privacy

How we collect, use and protect personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary because of changes to:

  • Our business
  • Our products or services
  • The law
  • Shopify or another provider
  • Security or operational requirements

The updated version will be published on our website with a new revision date.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights relating to an order already accepted.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Customers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland retain any mandatory consumer protections and rights to use their local courts.
